The SRS committee of the Welfare Department had helped to clear the SC room during the September holidays. This SC room clean up was a prelude to the moving of the SC room to the new campus in Nov. The task that awaited the SRS SCs seems daunting at first, with a great amount of materials and rubbish that is to be cleared from the SC room. Though the challenge was great, but the SCs of SRS managed to clear the room within 2 days!

Day One

The SCs was at a loss about what to do with the junk from the SC room. The sheer amount just makes the disposal of it a logistics challenge. The junk filled several garbage bags and large boxes, and the SCs had to carry the bags and boxes all the way to the garbage disposal point near the performing arts block.

By the end of the day, the hard work paid off. The SC room was restored to pristine condition, with no random pieces of junk around the room. However, for the SCs of SRS, the work does not stop there; there are still the mirror room (linking the hall to the SC room) that needs to be cleared.

Day Two

The SCs were greeted to the “spectacular” sight of dozens of cockroaches crawling all over the pieces of cloth in the SC room. The SRS SCs are not going to share their SC room with the cockroaches. Instead, a war was waged against the cockroaches using all available brooms in the SC room, and the SCs emerged as the victor; the cockroaches in SC room were literally obliterated.

Thanks to the SRS SCs, the SC room had never been so clean before. Maximum respect for SRS! :D
